Yet, regardless of the fact that your crushes may not be the "right" one for you and maybe your subconscious is preventing you from making a fool of yourself, I think that the whole "I am not the one they are seeking." can be debilitating b/c it keeps you from taking risks. In Episode 4, A New Hope, Obi Wan uses the force and convinces the storm troopers that "These are not the droids [they] are looking for" When in fact, they were exactly the droids they were looking for. By going along with someone else's assessment of what they were looking for, they were denied the opportunity to succeed in getting what they wanted. Which in that case was most likely getting off of some backwaters desert world, but could have very well been the promotion for a job well done that would have won them the heart of some storm trooperina So I guess I'm going with "Give it a shot" Today on things that should not go together: Love analysis and Star Wars nerds.
