Just included two shots I took last weekend. It appears that I seem to do well with plants. I’m not so great with anything else… yet.
After having dim sum with some friends, I went over to the Lumiere Theater to watch Planet B-Boy. I would have waited to see it with someone, but it is only in town for a limited time. I forgot how hot breakdancing was. The physical strength required for it is incredible. I loved how this documentary wasn’t just about the dancing. You really get to see behind the breakdancers’ personal lives and motivations for dancing. It is very moving. I will always be a spectator and admirer.

I love this city.

Gorgeous, right? I took this shot several weekends ago on that photo outing.
It is no wonder that MC and DH, the two guys from elementary school, are still in this city. I’d run into DH several years back when I first moved back to the area, and we had seen each other maybe once or twice since. I found MC on Facebook. Sometimes that site is useful. This was one such instance. Catching up over dinner and drinks last night turned out quite well.
We’re all grown up now. It’s strange.
The beginning of the year is whizzing by. Here’s the evidence. For one, it is already late March. The first day of spring has already passed. I have changed the password on my work computer a few times. I have gone in to get the braces adjusted several times as well. The spaces are much, MUCH smaller, by the way!
No longer working the 55-minimums. The 40-hour work weeks have “resumed.” I put that in quotes as it is not set in stone and can be changed at any given time. It just depends on how much work needs to be done. For now, it’s nice to leave work when the sun is still out.
My brain isn’t mushy from overworking anymore. I have no excuse for being bland. There are way too many distractions out there. I need to learn to put that all in the back burner. I need to prioritize. My back has recuperated from the shock of the accident in January. I should start jogging. I have the shoes. I can make the time. It’s time to hit the refresh button. It’s time to work on me again.
Tonight, I’m catching up with two guys from elementary school. Not sure if I am excited or nervous. I have already caught up with one before, so it shouldn’t be weird. Maybe I will just let them do all the talking. Will provide details once it is over and done with.
The photo attached to this entry is one taken in the Mission. 88. 8 is my favorite number. Turn it sideways. It becomes infinity. I don’t know what happens when you double infinity.
