I noticed that about communications! I'd get frustrated about something, but it was easier to just bring it up or talk about it. There's nothing else you can do there anyway. :-) It'll be interesting to see what the moon is like next year. I was just sooo stoked about the full moon party. Remember the party we went to in the woods back in college? A lunar eclipse would have been amazing to see.

Izakaya sounds like a great idea. Sake on the playa! :-p You can serve up edamame too. If you go next year, let me know. Maybe we can camp near each other.

Sinta, I really hope you get to go some time! It is quite a long way to travel, but I think that many people do that. I posted pics of the Frankenstein animal, in case you read this entry before I updated it with photos. :-)

Awesome! I think the thing about having spiritual revelations isn't for everyone. I think the most profound thing I noticed about Burning Man was just how much I missed Yayoi! I think that was the first time we had been apart for more than a week since we got married.

It also has the effect of putting you in harsh conditions with less social constraints, which really turns people into glowing balls of awesome. I mean, there is the crankiness that arises, but it really melts some of the crap away. I talked to some friends more frankly than I had been able to.

And the art. Oh man, I loved the art. And you can't do all of burning man. It is IMPOSSIBLE. It's like trying to see a whole city in a week or less. But that's part of the fun. Everyone will have a different experience. I mean, last year, there was no moon! And the year before that, a lunar eclipse!

Anyway, I'm really jazzed you got to go. I really want to take Yayoi next year. I met this one couple last year that had a cafe in a geodome. I think I want to do an izakaya. XD

And that guy giving away the money, that's hilarious.

I've heard so many good things about Burning Man! I hope to have a chance to go and once I do, I'm going to jump on it :D I quite like the idea of ripping up stuff toys and making frankenstein animal toys! Cuuuute.
