It was a Gaga-themed party.

I had no idea what to wear the morning of and really only came up with something once I got home from work. I know at some point or other, she donned a wig of a color other than blonde, so I suppose the purple works. It’s got the obligatory bangs. The mini hat, bracelets, and necklace were purchased the day of the party. Since I wasn’t about to sew some outrageous outfit together, I decided on accessories that fit her “style.” As I couldn’t speak anyway, I took the opportunity to cover half of my face up with random lace/glitter I found in the house. In many photos I’ve seen, half of her face is covered in SOMETHING or other. It served the purpose of hiding any drool that might slip past these still-puffy lips.

Somewhere along the way, I smudged my eye make-up. Oh well.

BTW, I am totally going to have a costume closet in the new house.

Some people asked me if I was their brain on drugs… I told them I was just incredible and edible. Hah! Some photos from the party that we were at for most of the night, taking silly photo booth shots. So much fun! The first is of me being attacked, and the second, I’ve got a Bert head on! Eggbert!

I have always been drawn to the artistic types, whether visual or performing, when meeting people. Their perspectives/visions have always interested me because they were usually not of the norm or every day average. I admire their abilities and talents and wish that I would one day be able to find my own artistic voice. For now, I’ll keep associating myself with them… You know, hoping that it rubs off on me?

My friend Keane’s band Festizio is working on their debut album. Here’s a preview!

For last night’s Birthday/Halloween party, RV and I ended up dressing up as bacon and eggs. They were expensive for being cheap in quality, but still a very fun idea. I also picked up some devil ears to become a “deviled egg.”

Some people mentioned that I should wear a fro and roller skates all the time, and that those looked good on me. I guess I must not look okay normally! Hahaha. I think more were surprised by the sheer lankiness of my limbs. Looking back at photos now, even I am, and I see them on a daily basis. The event was fun. I loved that many people didn’t realize that it was me underneath all the fro and sparkles.

Now I know what to wear when I do not want to be recognized!

Bummed that Flickr is down, at least where I am right now. I can’t post a photo in place of an actual entry here. ;)

On Thursday, I get to dress up for a 70’s themed party. I will be going as a disco roller girl. Not sure what that means, but I am stopping in at different shops to pick up an outfit later today.
