Fleet Week 2008
Saturday, we went along for the 52 Clix monthly photo walk. The subject this time around was Fleet Week. The ships were not at the piers as of Saturday, which was unfortunate, but there were air shows going on throughout the day, which provided some good photo ops. Not a lot, but still great. I brought out the zoom lens, so it was pretty neat.
We also wandered off to my favorite photo booth in the city at Musee Mecanique. After meeting up with the sister, we watched the Blue Angels from Hyde Street Pier, which up until this time, I’d never noticed. Due to the festivities, traffic was INSANE… This city was not made for these large events. There just aren’t enough exits.
