Splish Splosh Splash!

Not an update to 101 in 1001 Days, sadly. Apparently somewhere along the way, I took “buy rain boots and go splashing in the rain” off my list!

Blasphemous!

I don’t even recall what I replaced it with, so let’s just document the purchase of these boots or attempts to purchase such boots here. Because Zappos offers free shipping for purchases AND returns, I decided to give that a shot. My feet are huge. I can now risk buying the wrong size because they’ll take ‘em back free of charge! SWEET. The selection on Zappos for the Sperry Top-Sider rain boots is not as large as on the Sperry Top-Sider site. The price is about the same too [you save a nickel!], so I’m really in it for the free shipping.

*fingers crossed that they fit*

Rain and Fernet.

It has been raining, off and on. I’m actually loving it. The only part I might not enjoy is having one less arm to carry everything. They need to get me an umbrella that will just float over me at all times. That would be fantastic.

Despite my last entry, it appears that now MH and I are “dating,” whatever that means. It was posed to me in the most informal way: So uh, are we like dating or something now? Cuz I mean, sorta seems like it… Yeah, that’s how I remember it. Perhaps it was a bit more eloquent than that, but I was under the influence of a couple shots of Fernet. Oh well, why the heck not, right? I have my reasons for hesitation, but I will play it by ear and just see what happens. I’m not really certain what this entails. I need a handbook or something! I’m not really into the guy in the romantic sense, but heck, what better things do I have to do? Oh wait, yes… WORK. Nah, I do like the attention.

Anyway, the weekend was a relaxing one. Spent most of it with Donna. Despite living in the same house, we hadn’t seen each other in awhile or spent much time together. It was good to just hang out with the sister once again… I hate being so busy because it really cuts down on family time.

Rain, rain, go away!

So I checked the weather just yesterday. Said that it would be a beautiful Saturday and then a pretty cool Sunday. Looked out the window this morning – RAIN! So I went back onto the weather site, and lo and behold, they’ve changed their minds about the beautiful and sunny. *annoyed fistshake* I really did bring the clouds to Portland… except once the weekend is up, it will be raining in multiple parts of the Northwest.

Should still be a good weekend, but it would’ve been nice to get some sun.

My stomach’s making noises this morning. I’m either already hungry, or last night’s late night dinner gave my stomach the gurgles.
