I never tire at watching the sun set. Lucky for me, it happens every day. I had a great time capturing the sunset while down in Santa Cruz for training several weeks back. Seriously, way too many pictures of the same setting sun. Plus, I went on a quick hike and took quite a few shots of the plants. Here are the rest of them: Week in Santa Cruz – August 2008.
Here’s the sunset photo from last night. I took a few. It wasn’t as red as in this photo. I changed some settings on my phone camera to capture the sunset a little better, and it came out like this.

I sent it as a text to some friends who were out celebrating a birthday that I could not attend.
Tonight, I’m attending an event at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. I’ve heard of it, but have never been. It’s free normally, but the hours are usually way too early. It will be nice to see my friends in the middle of all this training. Driving there will take ~45 minutes through the mountains. Not so bad, considering that I do not plan on drinking tonight.
